McKinney Foot Center carries several products that can be purchased through the office. These products are not found over the counter at drug stores.

Tineacide-Topical Antifungal

This is an antifungal cream available at our office. It is composed of Tea Tree Oil (a natural antifungal) and Lavender Oil in an emollient base including Clotrimazole, Undecylenic Acid, Urea. We recommend that patients cleanse the affected nail plate with soap and water and then dry thoroughly before using Tineacide. Apply a thin layer of Tineacide over the affected area each morning and evening. Please see insert accompanying Tineacide for its warnings.

Revitaderm-Hydrating Cream

This product is a fine cream that is indicated to rehydrate extremely dry, flacky, and fissured (cracked) skin. This product works on areas in which other products have failed. It is strongly recommended by McKinney Foot Center.

Biofreeze-Topical Cryotherapeutic Gel

This product is a pain relieving gel. It is cryotherapeutic (the cold method) and is also greaseless, stainless, and has a vanishing scent. It provides deep penetrating and long lasting relief from arthritis, backache, stiffness, body aches and even calms neuropathic pain. It is to be applied no more than 3-4 times a day to the achy area(s).

On Your Toes-Deodorizer

This product prevents re-infection of bacteria that causes Bromidrosis (foot odor) and keeps the foot smelling fresh for six months. This product contains bactericide USP purified microfined oxide of zinc. This product works very well and only has to be applied for three days and will work for six

Dryfoot

This is a rubber sock-like bag used to keep the foot dry during bathing. It works great for patients that have dressing and strapping that need to be free from moisture.
